Mrs. Charlotte L. Brunk was born in Covington, Kentucky at Booth Memorial Hospital on November 5, 1930 to Wayne Cyrus Ammerman and Letha Pearl Caldwell. Charlotte's parents had a miscarriage before she was born and had no other brothers or sisters.Charlotte lived in Covington, Kentucky until she was 14 years old when her parents decided to move to Cincinnati, Ohio, just across the Ohio River from Covington. She graduated from Withrow High School in June 1949 and married Rev. Richard T. Brunkone week later on June 17, 1949. Charlotte is survived by one daughter, two sons, nine grandsons and twenty great grandchildren. Charlotte attended Asbury College. 
Charlotte was an accomplished pianist and excellent secretary and administrative assistant. Charlotte and Richard pastored churches in Reedsville, Ohio, Dunkinsville, Ohio, Sauk Centre, MN, Peebles, Ohio, Lancaster, Ohio, Oskaloosa, Iowa, Jackson, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Florida. In 1961 Charlotte and Richard went to Costa Rica and Honduras, Central America as Missionaries with World Gospel Mission. In 1967 they returned to the U.S. where Charlotte worked as a Secretary and Richard as a Professor of Missions and Philosophy at Vennard College in University Park, Iowa. LaterCharlotte and Richard moved to Marion, Indiana worked in the Administration of World Gospel Mission from 1973 until 1980. They moved to Jackson, Mississippi and served as Pastor of Riverside Independent Church in Jackson, MS from 1980 until 1986 and then served as Pastor of the Faith Wesleyan Church in Jackson, MS from 1986 until 1988. In 1988 the Wesleyan Church sent Charlotte and Richard to Puerto Rico as Missionaries where Richard served as Field Director until 1993. They served various Wesleyan Churches from 1993 until retirement in 2002. They moved to Brooksville, Florida on permanent basis in 2002. Charlotte's husband, Richard went to be with the Lord on January 16 of this year. She was a committed Believer in Jesus Christ, a wonderful helpmate to Richard, a wonderful mother to Deborah, Michael, and Timothy, and a very caring grandmother and great-grandmother.
